Interesting. I don't have an injector to try, but see a Ubiquiti one for $12.59 on Amazon. High ratings. Or would a different brand/unit be recommended? I guess there's no issue with "too much" power, since it would be coming out of a POE switch to begin with?
So even if my "indoor" test, with a short cable, doesn't show an improved night mode, you're saying that adding a POE injector to the mix might do the trick (assuming that inadequate power is the root cause of my problems)?
Thanks.
I’m not a PoE or network expert, but I know my Ubiquiti WAP’s had a proprietary PoE injector. I also know there is PoE and PoE+. Don’t know the difference, but my switch automatically gives the device what it asks for (I think) and my DS2 is getting PoE+.

Here’s a pic with the porch cans turned up to 60% and the eave cans on. I’m standing ~10 feet in front of the doorstation.

Here’s another pic taken in the “pitch black”. The only light is ambient light from the neighbors and the Christmas lights. You can see the DS2 isn’t very good. I’m standing about 25’ away holding one of my kids. You can’t really see me at all in the DS2. It’s worth noting the DS2 is under a large covered porch, so it’s exposed to way less light.

I know that Apple Maps and Google Maps both have an API that shows drive time considering real time factors. I use it for a few different things but hadn’t thought about this. Let me play around with it here in a few weeks after I move and see what I can make come of it.

I’m planning to implement 2 good morning/good night buttons - one for me and one for my wife. I’d do it now, but don’t have a keypad dimmer in the bathroom here and the new place isn’t done yet.

That's going to be dependent on HomeKit, not my product. My product exposes C4 devices as HomeKit devices, which respond appropriately to HomeKit commands. The entire front-end is handled by Apple's stuff.
That said, I haven't tried chaining lots of commands into a single Siri request. Depending on what you're doing, you might use HomeKit scenes to make that simpler, or use a virtual switch in your project to trigger C4 scenes. But what you want may work already. I'll give it a try when I have a chance and post back. Even if it doesn't work now, Apple may add that in the next iOS update.
I understand it's Apple and not your appliance that dictates that, I should have phrased my question differently but I appreciate you answering. How much is your plug and play appliance and corresponding driver?

When using your product can you string things together? IE: Hey Siri, turn off the kitchen lights and bathroom lights, and turn on the back deck lights."?

Can anyone tell me what this button does? Checking in on some landscapers and was zooming in with the plus minus, but that button in the middle doesn’t appear to do anything.
