  1. Thanks chopedogg88. I'd guess a Rename driver needs to be installed by an installer
  2. Hello, up until recently, I had access to the Pro version of composer however my dealer login seems to have disappeared. I'd like to rename some Powerview blind scenes in Composer since the text is not always clear due to the width of the buttons. Right-clicking on the scene shows the option to "Rename" but no action happens. Amy I missing something, or can this only be done in the Pro version? Thanks!
  3. Works great! Thank you. I just added a "start timer" to the "Watch" command in the Great room. This gets stopped then the kitchen volume level gets to 0 and the room is stopped (I don't want the kitchen "off" as we may restart the media later). Now I can also see the level get lower every 500ms on the UI as I added a delay in the "volume -1" loop. Perfect.
  4. Ah, thanks Cyknight. "Volume -1" might be better than "pulse". I'll give it a try to confirm.
  5. Hi All, I've got a home layout where my kitchen is open to my great room and we often have music playing in the kitchen. My objective is to "fade" or lower the kitchen music level to zero when I select "watch" in the great room. I've got it programmed, but I'm not seeing/hearing the desired effect. Effectively, when the GR has "Watch" selected I enter a loop that uses "Pulse down" and a 1 sec wait to get to zero, then the music is turned off. However, the result seems to be the level goes from 11 to 0 and no obvious "fade" in the music level, other than off. I would have thought the "pulse" would have the same effect as a tap on the volume down in the UI or remote? Does anyone have a suggestion or more graceful way to implement this? Thanks!
  6. Got around to this today, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to download the image. I used the "exportImage" option and it did write a file to the output directory, but the image size is zero. I think I will need a 2.10 T3 image to upload. Would anyone happen to have one? Thanks!
  7. Sorry, are you saying I can download the image form an existing T3 screen? Thank
  8. Thanks everyone for the great insights. I had a power failure and I'm in a similar situation with my T3 touchscreen (1 dead out of 3). I've downloaded the package of tools and image, but I really need the 2.10 image for the T3. Does anyone have one? Alternately, can I use the RKD tool to download it from another T3 I have that is working? - Thanks!
  9. Hello, My existing dealer is not responding to my requests for a new driver license, and I'm hoping someone else can assist. I'm looking for one of these - Platforms :: Control4 Drivers :: Security :: Hikvision (drivercentral.io) I do not need assistance to install, as I already have the demo version installed and just need a license. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  12. Just added a Wyrestorm MX606 to my system to finally try and resolve the HDMI switching issues and it just won't respond. I've added the Serial driver and it works just fine. Both tested using the "Test Mode" (double click on the driver to get a matrix up to verify connectivity and function) - The Serial driver works, the Web UI for the switch works, the front panel buttons work, just the IP driver fails. When the Test mode for the Ip driver comes up, there is no indication that anything is being switched, in the C4 UI or the front panel. Unfortunately, I don't have a serial port at the rack that has the Wyrestorm switch, I was hoping to do this on IP. Any suggestions? Both the controller and HDMI switch are on the same network, similar IP addresses and the driver status is "OK" in driver properties. Crazy. Thanks in advance for any insights!
  13. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I managed to get a simple driver and update the IR codes. I've got everything functioning correctly now.
  14. Hey Matt, upon further investigation it looks like irUSB needs an app installed on the device that the dongle will be plugged into. There is no obvious way to do this in the UI and I don't want to start screwing around with the device. SO, it looks like I am back to an IR solution. -Dave
  15. Hi Matt, Just took a look at that. I think it might be a good solution as I cant get the required app installed on the box to use the Chowmain driver. I was hoping to get this done with a C$ driver, but may have to go with the irusb solution. Thanks
  16. Hello there, I recently added an Android TV to my C4 system and I would really like to control it with the C4 remote. I've tried to "find" an IR driver, but so far, no luck. Yes, I see the Chowmain has a driver, but its IP and I'd rather not screw with the OS image on the box. the device is a TVIP TV Box v.605 (product on Amazon). I've tried to use an existing driver (VCR) and modify the IR codes and add a few custom ones. I've captured the IR codes using the EA-3 in the rack. This seems to work for the IR codes, but it is missing the HDMI connection so I can't connect it to the correct input. When I use a DVD player driver with HDMI output and then modify it, the IR codes don't work. It seems that the frequency(?) or the base driver (VCR or DVD) is impacting the way the IR is transmitted back to the device? Seems strange, as I would have expected the captured IR code to just be transmitted, regardless of the base driver used. Any suggestions? - Thanks in advance! David
  17. Ah, there we go! Updated to 66 and used the work-a-round Dunamivora suggested. Listening now Thanks for the assist!
  18. I think you've helped me identify my error condition. I don't have any URL shown in the Navigator UI. Android, HDMI out (EA-5) or touchscreens. Attached is the android mobile screen shot. the driver version is 62, the OS is 2.10.6. Seems like there are a few issues with this driver.
  19. Dunamivora, can you share the steps with us to work around the issue? Like where to click to finish the process? I'd rather not wait weeks/months for a bug to get fixed. - Thanks
  20. Any insights since Monday? I'm in the same situation, except selecting "Log in" just stays on the accounts settings page. No URL is shown, no option to add the account info. Thanks
  21. Thanks guys. The C4-16 amp does not have digital inputs. So I guess its using the first analogue output (1), contrary to what MStafford suggested ("dig 2 before dig 1, then analog 2 before analog 1"). The amp is expecting the audio to be coming on input 2 (amp display confirms this), but the EA-5 is sending it on output 1. Yes, I've switched the cables as Braydon suggested and that works. But given that I've got output 1 to input 1, and output 2 to input 2; in the connections routing, you'd think the amp would select the best route.
  22. Hello, I've just cleaned up some cabling and found that the analogue outputs on my EA-5 don't seem to be what I expected. I have both analogue outputs routed to input 1 & input 2 respectively on my C4-16-amp3. When I select TuneIn in the kitchen, the audio inputs on the amp show input 2 is going to zone 1 (Kitchen). The issue is that the TuneIn feed is on analogue output 1. If I switch the inputs on the amp (audio output 1 to Amp input 2) - all is fine. However it looks like TuneIn is a digital audio output? My question is - shouldn't C4 know to route audio out 1 on the EA-5 to the correct input on the amp for the music to play? I dont see any config for the digital audio or the input selections on the amp? Its working, but I'd like to understand this better. Thanks in advance
