  1. So there is a way to get the old IP driver to work under OS 2.9? Or you’re referring to the latest official driver being used in OS 2.10?
  2. So you already had IR blasters at each location? Do they need to be stuck directly on the Apple TVs?
  3. Okay, I do believe I have IR at each location already, so the driver can just piggyback on the pre-existing blaster at each location? Also, if I do have the setup already in place, will it require a truck roll from my dealer to configure, or is it something he can do remotely? Just trying to get a sense how long this will take to in terms of my dealer having to fit me into his schedule vs. just remoting in at some point Thanks
  4. So for the IR driver, I'll need to have blasters already routed from my rack to each Apple TV location, correct?
  5. Okay, thanks Is there a link for the gen4 IR driver that I can direct my dealer to?
  6. Not sure I follow, I'm just trying to get clarification so I can pass on some hopefully useful information to my dealer
  7. I thought that was the IP driver that only worked with 2.10 and above? So, it's both the IP and IR drivers that require 2.10 and an EA controller?
  8. So I should be asking my dealer to try “gen4 IR driver?”
  9. Uh oh, are the new IP or IR drivers compatible with OS 2.0? I'm stuck on OS 2.0 as I only have an HC800 and HC300
  10. Just upgraded all four of our 4K Apple TVs and realized that I can no longer control the Apple TV with my Control4 remote I guess whatever tvOS 13's changes are, one of them must be changes in remote commands or something like that Anybody have any idea what needs to be done in order to get functionality back to my Control4 remotes? Something I can possibly do via Composer HE? Or will I need to get my dealer involved (which may take a while before he can get to it)? EDIT: Just tested the Control4 app on my iPhone and that, too, no longer works to control the Apple TV Will have to resort back to the original Apple TV remote until this gets figured out Thanks
  11. Modem Motorola Arris SB6141 (mine, not rented from Comcast) When the outage occurs, nothing has internet access, like I mentioned above (phones on wifi, hardware on ethernet, etc.) Yes, those are definitely questions for my dealer to look into I guess. We've had this hardware installed since last October and nothing really has changed since then save for: -I installed the SecuritySpy software on my Mac and from which I now access my Lilin camera feeds -I attached a POE injector to a satellite switch in our family room in order to supply power to a Unifi G3 Flex camera I recently purchased I can't really think of anything else that has changed since October and the two things I mentioned don't seem to be temporally related to the outages I've been having (ie, Mac NVR software installed much earlier than 1st outage and POE injector installed probably 3 or 4 days after 1st outage)
  12. Happened again yesterday morning, spent 2 hours checking things, sending notes and screenshots to my dealer, etc., but he was unavailable (I don't blame him...it was Saturday morning after all) So, I first tried rebooting cable modem, but that didn't fix it I also went through Comcast's remote troubleshooting where they remotely reboot cable modem, check connection, etc., but all was good from their end At first the OvrC app showed the same two items that I posted in my original post above as unavailable, but at some point during those two hours, everything in the OvrC app became unavailable So, even if I wanted to reboot the entire rack, I wouldn't have been able to do it, at least not remotely Ended up pulling an email my dealer had sent me that itemized what was plugged into where in each Wattbox So, I unplugged (ie, rebooted), the router, switch and POE switch and once they had cycled back on, all was good again Couple curiosities: all during the 2 hours that the network was down, my POE cameras were still online - I could access live feeds via the Control4 app and via the SecuritySpy Mac NVR software that I had posted about a couple of weeks ago Also, when I would ask our HomePod and Google/Alexa appliances if they were connected to the internet, they would answer affirmatively; I even asked the HomePod to play a song and she would answer okay and pretend like she was playing it, but nothing was actually playing But, I'm not sure how they were saying they were connected, because nothing was connecting in our house - no phones via wifi, no computers via wifi or ethernet, no YouTube TV via our Apple TVs, etc My hardware: -Araknis 300 router -Araknis 310 24 port switch -Araknis 210 16 port POE switch -4 Araknis WAPs
  13. Yes, these are some of the issues I am having as well
  14. Yes it’s buggy for sure, but many apps have already been updated to be compatible with it, so I’m just checking to see if C4 plans to push out a compatibility update
  15. I've been on the iOS 13 GM for about a week and now the official release came out today The Control4 app is pretty buggy under iOS 13 - any dealers out there know of an impending update? I'm using the legacy app as I don't have recent enough controllers to use the "new" app that came out a few months ago Thanks
  16. Follow up - I gave up Friday night and tried again on Saturday and finally got it off It took A LOT of upward pressure to get it to snap off, luckily none of the 4 tabs on the backplate broke
  17. Follow up - dealer logged in and didn't see any dropouts from the Wattbox, so the next step is to contact him when it happens again and not reboot the rack until he can log in and see what's going on
  18. Interestingly, the icon in OvrC home that my dealer named "wifi only refresh" never showed as "unavailable" According to the cheatsheet, this icon will restart all the WAPs (there are 4)
  19. Ah, since I could connect to the Wattbox to initiate the reboot, I must have had an internet connection - I hadn't thought of that So, could it be wifi within the house? The WAPs? I believe the TuneIn I play to listen to NPR in the morning is from Sonos, though it's activated from my touchscreen
