Which version of ipad mini do you use?  

I previously had an Ipad mini 4 and 5 and they were quite a bit slower than the mini 6.

I use an Ipad mini 6 and am very pleased the results.

I have it mounted with a Simplidock mount and use a POE to USB-c adapter.

I have never bought from Vidabox, but looked at them in the past I just like more of a flush mount that Simplidock offers.

Can someone post the Core series specs mainly the CPU/RAM specs for the core series but would love a full comparison table like the attached for the EA series?

I go from a 24 port switch to the AVM70-  not a problem.

Especially when you are accessing the Web UI it's not a network problem.

I haven't been liking Anthem's responses lately, they seem lazy and bothered.

I meant to add then try the following:

1) Attempt the updates from the Web UI.

2)  Attempt the update from the front panel of the MRX740

Please post a screenshot of your current firmware.

Here is mine for reference:

try manually rebooting the MRX/AVM first:

• Disconnect the power cord.
• Press the front panel power button five times to drain any residual power.
• Reconnect the power cord.
• Power on the MRX/AVM.

If still no luck  save your user settings then try:

To manually reset the MRX/AVM to factory condition: connect power, and press the front panel Menu and Main Power buttons at the same time. The unit should turn on. This process is useful if the MRX/AVM has become inoperable. However, the method described above wipes all user settings.

I've had no problem updating my AVM70 to the 2.3.213 latest version which is the same for the MRX740 which out disconnecting my C4 controller from being connected(ip address in the connections tab of Composer) to the AVM70.

I'm assuming Automatic updates are set to ON in the Web settings for the receiver?

From early on in Control4 I thought the system best functioned(generally speaking) with Director(Controller 1- Say EA5) and Zigbee coordinator(controller 2-Say EA3).

Did this change in 3.3.0? To where Director and Zigbee Coordinator runs off one controller.

So is the only reason now to have extra controllers is for extra audio streams/on-screen navigators or additional IR emitters?

Or do I have this wrong?

Hello All,

Problem:  Current Programming makes me select Roku source first( Watch - select Roku on C4 remote) for the Amplifier Audio to kick on then Switch to my Kodi Movie Box if I want to watch a movie.

Description Physical Wiring:

I've got a couple of sources( Roku and Kodi Movie Box) that feed hdmi into my Samsung 55TU8000 then toslink out which is converted to digital coax and then plugged into Input 1 on the C4 8AMP1-B Amplifier.  So the Physical connections are all good.

Current Programming is as follows:

Roku HDMI out to Samsung HDMI Input 1

Roku Digital Coax Output to C4 Amplifier Digital Input 1

Kodi Movie Box HDMI to Samsung HDMI Input 2

Kodi Movie Box no audio out connections.

What I would like the final solution to be:

Is there a seperate driver I can add to make the connections in C4 so the Amp will kick on no matter which source I choose?

Ideally I think if the TV driver had a digital coax output I could make that connection directly to the C4 Amp and then I could choose I either source and the amp will kick on.

This isn't the biggest problem just more of an annoyance for my wife.
