I installed a Foxun Model:SX-MX12B 8x8 HDBaseT Matrix, Support 18G, HDR, 4K2K@60Hz, YUV 4:4:4.

I wrote a one way serial driver for it and it has worked great. The price is less than 1/5 what you have been quoted.
About a year ago, I had contacted Foxun about this exact model (SX-MX12B) and they had mentioned that they have Control4 drivers for it - IP based as well as serial based. Is that not the case?
And how is it working for you?

I'll post a link to my copy a bit later. I'm pretty sure I got it from the snap av product page for this model a couple years ago.
Hi there - can you post the link the driver? Having the same issue. Thanks

Hi all
I am installing a Zigbee 2 IO module (C4-Z2IO) to sense the temperature within a cabinet and based on the temperature, I want to control a 240V Control4 Wireless Puck Switch (C4-SM201-Z) on/off to essentially control a vent.
I know that the Z2IO has a relay built-in that could potentially control the 240V vent directly, but the vent is already on the C4 switch.
I would also like the current temperature to be displayed at all times.
What's the best set of drivers to be able to do this?
Would I be able to set the on/off temperature via the touchscreen or would that have to be done via programming?
Thanks

That driver from Bitbucket is the one I initially wrote, for anything newer than 2016 you'll want to use the v2 version from here: https://annex4.link/drivers/vieratelevision-v2
Would the Bitbucket IP driver work with an old Panasonic plasma model TC-P50GT25? Thanks

Could try a wireless dimmer puck. That is what has been recommended to me and I have installed and just waiting to have the can installed. Only downside is it's a light proxy so have a light rather than a fan icon etc.

Does the fan speed vary according to the dimmer or are there preset speeds that you can program (off, low, med, high, etc.)?

Hi all
I know there are Zigbee based temperature sensors (like Z2IO, etc.) that integrate with Contol4...
But I am looking for a WiFi based temperature sensor that could be integrated into Control4 for sensing the temperature and turning a fan/off via a relay.
Again Zigbee is not an option as the location is too far from the EA5 and there are no other Zigbee devices in the system - so I don't want to start adding repeaters just for this one device.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Have you dealt with installing a VoIP PBX before?? That's what you'll have to do to enable calling between your customer and security desk.
Seems awfully extravagant for a single customer.
If you went with a 3rd party intercom system, at least you'll be able to offer and/or install for other tenants in the building to get the same capability.
I have no experience with a VOIP PBX. I have no influence with other tenants - so, that doesn't seem like a feasible route. I guess I will leave the security desk as a separate phone line/system for now.. Thanks all...

Experiment is the perfect word for this.
Why don’t you look into a dedicated intercom system and leave C4 out of it?
That is the fallback - would love to not have more equipment on the wall or a table. Not just aesthetically but also won't confuse folks trying to answer the security phone vs the landline.
I am intrigued by the SIP integration "experiment"...

Ideally this would be an MDU install and a dealer would put Control4 in every condo.
Sorry, but that is not possible - are there any other options?

Hi all
I have a weird question - tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything close to my issue - so here goes...
I have a C4 installation in a condo in a larger apartment complex.
There is a security desk downstairs that has the ability to call each individual condo via a phone line (or so it seems - don't know how its done as there is no dedicated phone number for each location).
The easy option for me is to get a 2-line phone system (1 for the landline and 1 for this intercom to the security desk).
But I'd rather have the security desk integrated into my C4 system as an intercom - I would like to make audio-only intercom calls from the C4 touchscreen / mobile app to the security desk and vice-versa.
Is that possible? If so, do i need special hardware?
Thanks

There literally is no upside. It's just a pain. That's why no one has returned your call. Imho
I am in the same boat with 2 dead WB-600 units - willing to offer some incentive if some dealer wants to help be the liaison with SnapAV. Thanks

We are looking for testers of a Vizio IP driver, you will need to have a 2016+ Vizio Smartcast TV. If you are interested please respond and also include your TV model.
Hi
Do you know if this driver will work for Vizio M75-C1 TV?
Thanks

Hi -
I am also considering the same screen with dual motors - one for the screen and one for the masking panels.
Do you have the specific model numbers for the parts that are needed?
Thanks

I am using Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW for my baby cams and they are integrated into C4 as well as my Lilin NVR...

Biggest difference is that the older Pulse (black) hub connects to C4 via RS232 / serial port while Pulse 2 (white) hub connects via IP. This is huge as it gives you a lot more flexibility in terms of where you can place the hub (ideally centrally to all the shades you are controlling).
Also, Pulse 2 can do sunset / sunrise based scheduling directly via the Rollease app, which I don't think the old Pulse hub could (it could only do it based on absolute time).
I also think the Pulse 2 app now supports iPad natively.
Here is a detailed comparison https://www.rolleaseacmeda.com/docs/default-source/us/automate-controllers/automate-pulse-2/automate_hub_comparison.pdf?sfvrsn=f246ea3c_8
If I were you, I would get your dealer to give you the latest Pulse 2 hub - no point in getting older hardware.
