Binary 260 switch is the newer model, comes in 3, 4 and 5 in 1 out options, has IR and serial drivers. It's also 4K HDR and full 4:4:4 @60 (and no timing issues with active cables unlike older models).

I'm using two personally, one IR and one serial and they're rock-solid.

I wouldn’t need an IR transmitter for the Binary if I used IR from a Triad SA1 to control it, right?

It's a global/Roku Firmware issue, and isn't actually an issue on Control4's side. Roku likely haven't deployed/completed the fix yet.

    Other platforms are also affected.

Once deployed by Roku, it should start working again and no action should be required by yourself or your installer

I understand all that.  I’m a former programmer.  It just doesn’t make sense that if code wax pushed to fix the issue then something would be pushed to break it again.  Unlike a few days ago where I tried a factory reset I did nothing this cycle.  I’ll wait a few days but I’ll only wait so long for Roku to stabilize.

I’m just glad there are some on this site that have some info.  I can’t imagine being an average C4 customer and having function that worked without issue for years just flat out stop.  And I’ll bet that most of those folks think “Control4 stopped working” and not “Roku broke something” so it’s Control4 that gets the black eye.

  3. I have a Sony A95L TV.  There is a back button (like a backwards C arrow) that isn’t apparently mapped to either the “Back” or “Prev” button on the Halo remote or the “Back” button on the TV navigator screen.  This button is key to almost every app on the TV.

How do I get this button to be recognized by C4?  I presume that would involve an update to the Sony TV driver by C4 or a custom version of it.

  4. I am trying to find a way to determine when mini drivers are detected.  I’ve found that the power on/off variables in the minidrivers never change so they aren’t useful.

i would like to trigger code off application ID but the only place I see those is in Roku debug log and the Roku driver surprisingly does not expose that value (or name of selected app).

There is a CURRENT_MEDIA_INFO Room variable that changes when a source is selected.   This seems to be a 5 digit number ending in 00.  I’m trying to figure out if this number is unique to the project or unique to the actual source?  I have two Max mini-drivers (one to a TV, one to Roku), each with a different number.

I want to be able to do programming based on which streaming source is selected (e.g. navigate to select profiles, etc) but I need a definitive way to identify if I’m on mlbtv, Hulu or Netflix …

  5. Does anyone have MLB working on a Sony A95L TV?  All the other mini-drivers I’m using trigger the related native TV app except MLB.

the only thing that I can see that’s different is that the MLB ap is not on the top of the Your apps screen but it’s down one level under “See All”

‘I would really hate to hook up a Roku box just so I can use MLB.TV

on a related note - is there a mini app for Bravia Core?

‘Thanks in advance for any help.
