I'm thinking it needs to be powered. I hooked it up yesterday and wasn't getting any communication through it. Time to track down a 12v 2.5mm power adapter!
I bought the power adapter but I also moved to a new home and havent setup the system yet
Please let us know if the power adapter solves the problem.
Thanks

Have u tried plugging an ethernet cable to see what happens?

The KB article was finally published a couple of days ago. Bought a 4WSD9TB today and I'll get it hooked up next week when it arrives.
I still dont know if we have to power the converter or not. Keep us updated.

Did you have a chance to give the adapter (4WSD9TB) another try over the weekend? My IT-230 arrived, and now I just need to decide on an RS422-232 adapter. I'll probably just order the same one, given that it is the recommended one. Just want to make sure there aren't some looming issues with it first!
Not yet. There is a C4 KB that they will release with the instructions on how to set it up. I am just waiting for that

can you share which convert your looking or one confirmed to work?
- Requires a RS422 to RS232 converter, we have used one from B&B Electronics(4WSD9TB) in our test and development

I bought the same converter but it did not work for me... IT-230 flashes but it would not communicate with the controller. I will try again this weekend using a power supply and report if that solves the problem.

Thanks @mallom - my dealer is going to give your driver a try over the weekend. Thanks so much.
If he can't do it, it would be great if one of you would be willing to work with me on it, for a fee, obviously. PM me if any of you would be open to that.
Did you get things sorted out? Did the driver work? Let us know!

Cody, I wish I even knew what that meant when I was considering buying this tv : )
Should have know better than to think ANYTHING would be easy with Control4 : (
Try the driver I provided you. It may solve the problem.
C4's codes are limited IMO, but the wizard to create custom drivers is great!
Your dealer should have created a driver using macros to switch inputs in the first place.

Really? Wonder which code you used? The motorola one? Or perhaps RCA or the Radioshack one? In this case URC stands for the generic term - not the company
PS I edited my original post to make that a bit clearer
I have an URC MX-900 so I used the codes from URC database. They have Discrete codes for 2010+ models.
I havent tried on 2014/2015 models, but they should work as well.

Remember that the TV will only switch to that source if it senses a signal. If nothing is plugged in - it wont work.

I have 3 different sizes and models insignias at home working with the URC codes. I will post my driver in a few hours. It is not completed though... I only use discrete on, off, Hdmi 1 and 2.
That is all I need from a TV.

You will need a dealer to help you troubleshooting this problem anyway. If the wifi card is fried at least you can hardwire it or if running an ethernet cable is not possible, u can get a cheap airport express and use it as an access point. I havent actually tried this but I cant see why it wouldnt work
