Also make sure you get a fail safe lock so if power is loss or relay fails you can get in to it

no as it’s not an entrance. Using a relay off the controller or io ext or a wireless relay is good to use

is this going to be integrated with a card access system as well? if so use a relay to trigger the Rex for this zone. with the relay door controller driver.

if not use a relay +12 v (power to maglock) to trigger the maglock with the same driver.

you should add contacts to know if the door is open and closed.

the current one will still work. just change the icon.

disregard my comment. I didn’t realize they released a new app and didn’t just update the icon. 

they need to release a new one or just edit the current one to the new system app name

is your FiOS internet setup with Ethernet or MOCA? Also clone the Fios routers wan mac to your Araknis.

if your not using ELK-930 for anything. you should be able to just wire the Door bell directly to the z2io

FYI,  I didnt realize my frame TV (w/art mode enabled) was set for automatic updates.   It apparently did an update last night and now it will not work with the C4 remote.   The TV shows in the driver as active,  I tried repairing,  I also checked settings but havent been able to uncover whats going on yet.  I did notice after the update that the TV Anynet+/CEC was selected so I deselected it.    Posting for awareness and if anyone has had something similar or a fix, I welcome it!

the FW update fixed my icons being out sync.

Anyone know how to get the icon cache updated on the device?
we switched providers and its still showing the old cable icon ONLY on the halo.
the icon updated on the app/neeo & touch screens.

I have ordered one of the dimmers (same manufacturer as Enbrighten) to test. Seems like a solid alternative to native switches and dimmers especially in hidden/less critical areas. 

They work native with the Core i have. No issues.

your dhcp scope was prob changed in the past and now that you reset the modem it is back to factory and the devices don't know what to do now.

you could change the scope back if you know what it was or a dealer will need to fix

having issue as well lost all control of devices connected to hdmi matrix. worked for years.

if they can handle control4. they can definitely handle HS.

I hate the Home assistant cult. Anytime you say something about the product you get bashed or the oh you waste money with C4,Crestron,Urc etc.

The lovelace interface is sucks and will never be as good as C4,Crestron,Urc etc. and i am not saying they are the greatest.

BC in my opinion the control4 user interface was not good until a few releases in to OS 2.

You made the point "It will control all of your C4 lights and switches (there's an integration that takes 30 seconds to install by clicking a UI button)". Are you talking about the official C4 integration on home assistant (i.e. https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/control4/)?

the C4 integration in HA  is not an official integration as @Dunamivora pointed this out in the past.
