Is it possible to add pool's lights control t Control4?
Steve Hammond replied to Steve Hammond's question in Question & Answer
Not impossible. I know it doesn’t have any LED or something like this on it’s front. So it may be RF or Bluetooth. Not sure where the control box is for the lights. -

Is it possible to add pool's lights control t Control4?
Steve Hammond posted a question in Question & Answer
Hi all, We have lights integrated in our pool controlled by a remote. While I’m not very sure of that, I think it may be a radio signal, certainly not IR. There is a few automation on the remote or we can select the Color with the PAD. See attached image for reference. Do you think that is could be possible to have this controlled with Control4 and just place the original remote away? Thank you -

That is all the problems I can see if using a Pi for AirPlay, since my audio matrix is connected to 8 different zones. Even if I can AirPlay to a Pi, it won’t help me select which zone I want to use over AirPlay. I even have an AirPlay AirPort Express that could be used for AirPlay, but that won’t result in any easy way to select the destination. -

My Apple TV are all in my rack. I used to be able to AirPlay to one that I directed to an audio output of the matrix, but it is a dual step configuration that I can deal with maybe, but too much for the other members of my family. I do not see how a Raspberry Pi could handle the sound of the matrix without being integrated into the Control4 system itself. Maybe can you share the how to of your setup?? -

Not even that much, I think it is 2.10 from what I can see in the iPhone app. -

I guess a Raspberry Pi won’t do better than an Apple TV. You still need to select the source from the Control4 app and then airplay to the Pi. -

That is why I said ShairBridge could be what will make me upgrade to a new controller, one better than the HC250. But it probably won’t be an HC800, which is relatively old too. -

I guess that could be a driver to upgrade the controller… -
Hello, I just found that Control4 can be use as a AirPlay 1 destination using ShairBridge. But I cannot find out what is the minimum requirements for it. My Controller is a HC250 running OS2, can it work? Thank you

Hitachi LE39H316 Driver available?

I have the original remote for that TV, so I guess it should be doable. My integrator told me he needs to come home for that. -
Hitachi LE39H316 Driver available?
Steve Hammond replied to Steve Hammond's question in Driver Requests
Ancien or old does not matter really, it just confirmed to me that a driver must exist somewhere! When I was using Logitech Harmony, it was really easy to find an old equipment in it. -
Hello, I’ve asked my integrator to add this TV model in my setup, but he couldn’t find the driver for it. Is it a somewhat old TV, I was expecting it could be easy. Anyone have a driver for it?

I found this thread while searching Google: I did what the second user (sparky7) did and it stays connected now. But trying to scan the media library manually don't seam to work. Hopefully I have not mess up a parameters. I click teh Scan Media at the buttom, but nothing happens... I know the user have access to the files, since it works on my Sonos with he same account. I rebooted my NAS, but nothing different. I'm thinking of rebooting the controller itself, maybe there's something stuck in its little brain...

I forgot to mention, but yes, I did reenable SMB1 on my NAS. That also caused issues with the Sonos speacker I have on my work desk, which helped seeing the issue. But when SMB1 was not enable, I received another message saying something like "the server is not available". Now I clearly get a message that says is is connected, but then it will disconnect after a few seconds. Look at the 3 screenshots below taken at a few seconds each.

My music is stored on my Synology NAS with an account that has read only access to my music medias. I recently reinstalled my NAS from scratch to resolved some issues with other components. Composer is configured to connect to shared folders and will connect, but within a few seconds, disconnects. Any ideas on what's causing the controller to disconnect so quickly?

Yea, I see hem on eBay between $130-250 USD. That may be an option, but like you mention if it becomes obsolete in a year or two, it is something we have to take into consideration. And I'll need a dealer to install it anyway, and pay for that too. an example here: Control4 C4-HC800-BL Automation Controller HC-800 Home Automation Device | eBay

Yea, I got it that it is not a user option, even if I were to upgrade to a newer controller and software. I wanted to add a game option to the Watch list in my Cinema room remote. This way, If I want to bring the Switch, Wii or Xbox to the big screen, it would be as simple as moving the device. The Onkio have plently of HDMI ports available for that usage. Since I'm already doing a few things with my current dealer, I'll ask him to add this to his to do list. Next time, I may ask someone from this forums, as the reply is somewhat faster!
