It looks like this is partially resolved. I can now make changes in the customer portal and have it save correctly. But when I have Google Home update/refresh my devices, it will go back and enable every device again.
-
Yea, very frustrating. Maybe it has to do with the issue at the end of July regarding configuration in customer portal; either didn't get fully resolved or the fix broke something else.

I'm having some issues enabling/disabling my Control4 devices in Google Assistant. When I log into the Customer Portal -> Voice Control, I cannot Enable/Disable any devices. After I select all the devices I want to show up in my Google Assistant/Home, I would click save and it would show a message saying it was saved successfully. However, when I log back into Customer Portal and look at it again, it would revert and enable all devices. Anyone else experience this?

Alan, any chance something is in the works for Samsung split units with wifi modules (remotely controllable in Smartthings)?

Are there any professional 24/7 monitoring companies that support Clareone?

Experiencing some issues with this. I can turn on the fireplace but after a couple seconds, the status of the fireplace shows up as "OFF" in Control4. So to turn off the fireplace, I have to turn on "HEAT" and then turn it "OFF".
Also, the lighting features are acting weird. When I try to change the LED colors, all it would do is turn up the brightness and then dim it back down. Also, I cannot set any of the optional accessories value, it just defaults back to true.
Any ideas on what could have gone wrong?

Figured I'd share a simple hack I did tonight that came out well (I think):
- Use Case: Our front door DS2 has occasional false positives for our motion annoucement (which we love), so I wanted to add a second sensor to QA that via confirmation logic
- Solution: Dissasembled a NYCE 3041 and integrated it into a 1" PVC pipe/cap, sealed it at the bottom and sensor for the outdoor environment, painted and cut it to be a landscape 'stake'
Given these sensors are known to be durable outdoors pre-mod., thinking it will hold up. Also upped to a CR123 for 2x battery life (despite easy cap removal to change).
Did you disassemble the whole front and back assembly for this? Any pics of the progress?

reregister your controller
Just reregistered, When/Then page still shows session expired.

Tried restoring to previous backups before Google stopped working, still getting the same error. Also updated to OS 3.3.0 and still can't fix it, I'm still seeing 121 as the latest update for OS 3.3.0. When I remove the Google Assistant driver, the customer portal still has all of the devices under voice command, if I recall correctly, without driver, the devices shouldn't show up?
One thing I noticed also was in the customer portal, the When/Then page is not working, it give an error that the session is expired and to log in and out again. Despite re-logging in, the expired session still occurs.
-
Odd, the project was untouched when it stopped working. It just suddenly stopped. I’ll try restoring to a prior backup and see if it comes back.

Driver version is 121 and I don't seem to see a new version available for 3.2.4.
-
Nope, still not linking.
-
Need to check the version but I’m pretty sure it’s up to date for 3.2.4 (recall it was Jan 2022).
-
Still can’t get this to work. @dilipdid you ever get this resolved?
-
Yup, tried that as well and still doesn't work. Tried rebooting the controller too.
4Sight appears to be working. The system can be accessed remotely.
And in the customer portal, when changes are being saved on the voice command page, error: "An unexpected error occurred while saving changes. Please try again later." shows up.
-
Any luck on solving this? I'm having the same problem though I don't think it had to do with 4sight. My renewal was back in April. Tried unlinking and linking again and it won't add any of the devices. Says linked but something went wrong and no devices shows up.

Is anyone having trouble with google voice? It keeps saying it cannot reach Control4. And all lights and shades show up as offline in google home. I tried checking for new devices to see if it’ll refresh but it just gives an error.

Having a problem with Google's voice command. I can never seem to get a screen to open with voice command. The status of the screen is correct in C4 (when it is close, C4 shows closed and vice versa). I can get it to close with voice but never open. Google will acknowledge the command but nothing happens. Any ideas what's wrong?

I have an advance light scene that just started to randomly turn on. It would keep turning back on even after I turn it off, every 30mins or so. I don’t have the mocupancy driver nor any scheduled events for this light scene. Nothing was changed in composer recently. Lights are on C4 dimmer panel. Any ideas on how to track what is triggering it to turn on?

No you can't adjust that - that is the minimum wattage required by the module to work properly at all. As in for an ELV transformer, it must be pulling a minimum of 18W (at 100%) when in use or you see a power leak.
Ah, got it. Looking at the spec sheets for the transfer, it looks like minimum load is 60% of the labeled wattage. If I remember correctly, these are 48w drivers, so it's pulling 28.8w.

Difference could also be if the transformers are different wattages, or different loading by distance or length of strip.
They are different lengths and have different wattage power supplies.
On 5/21/2022 at 2:39 PM, Cyknight said:Also, are there more than one transformer on the same dimmer connection on the ones that are acting up.
These are all on individual dimmer connections.
On 5/22/2022 at 4:01 PM, Cyknight said:Fair point, ELV min wattage is 18W, at least something to check. OP note that is for actual draw, not what the ELV is rated for.
Also, these are wired with a neutral right?
Yup, these are wired with neutral. Where can I adjust the min wattage? Is this the watt setting under advanced properties?

Got it. I already have 3 diff mesh set up with 3 controllers. Maybe I’ll try moving the controller to a closer location first. Just very odd that the connection shows up healthy but drops and doesn’t reconnect. I have nodes that have much weaker connections that are very stable.
-
Is there a way to force a zigbee node to connect to a certain path? I have an Axxess wired motion sensor that keeps dropping connection and won't reconnect until I power cycle it. Once powered up, it connects and works properly but after a very short period (within 30mins or so), it drops. The connection shows good signal but thought maybe I can try mapping it to a different node might help. Or is there a way to heal the zigbee mesh?

@alanchow Does the light proxy work with Liftmaster's 823LM Remote Light Switch? This syncs with the garage opener, when the garage door opens, the light turns on. Also works with the wall control motion sensor and light button.
