Dylan Hirst Posted March 9, 2020 Share Posted March 9, 2020 Hey Everyone, Recently got the Rotel Michi Flagship set - managed to get the driver, I want to play MQA from Tidal via the EA 3 from Digital Coaxial. I have a main system that is running off a Denon 8500, this pulls Audio via HDMI from the EA 3 when I play Tidal. I've set my connections up on Composer as well as my Audio End Point 2 for the Rotel Michi but I can't seem to get Tidal to go through the Michi System, it is still going through the Denon System. Crustyloafer Posted March 9, 2020 Share Posted March 9, 2020 On OS2 HDMI is set as the highest priority audio connection so if you have both HDMI and Digital Coaxial bound then it will choose HDMI first. You could try disabling HDMI audio on EA-3 in main driver properties window and see if that fixes. On OS3 I think HDMI audio has been dropped down the priority list and would also fix this. Alternatively, put the Rotel Michi in another room in project and then when you want to listen to it then switch rooms and then select Tidal as your source.
