Rjv
I have already done my drywalls and was not intending to use c4, instead use cheaper solution based on wifi switches and smartthings. Anyways, I got more interest now to included C4 system with wifi based setup, so I do not have to cut too many drywalls. I need to automate 30 lights, DSC security system, garage control, music and media control. I do have ethernet cables in few locations. I am looking for some solid guidelines with equipments and cost estimates. Thanks in advance
Crustyloafer
Find a good quality local Control4 dealer and work with them to achieve what you want.
mstafford388
I think you'll also be surprised at what kind of wiring a good dealer can accomplish without jacking up your drywall.
twmoonly
Keep in mind a good "Wireless" network doesn't just consist of a Netgear Wireless Router with 3 antennas. Depending on the size and type of house you will have access points throughout.
Hasnat
if you have a switch board then you can replace all light's switch board which you want to automate and set up dual load square keypad and connect with light line which is zigbee connected with control4 controller. the square keypad size is same as normal switch board. you don't need to cut drywalls.
