pstuart
When I pause a video from my NAS, I lose network control over the dune, either via C4 Driver or iOS Dune RC app. IR still works, and via the IR remote if I press play, network control is restored.Anyone have any ideas? bk
Does this happen straight away, or only if you have paused for around 5 minutes?
pstuart
Not straight away, seems to be long into a movie and paused for awhile, maybe 2-3 minutes or more.
bk
I will try it myself, are you using the new certified driver? It was a known issue on some previous drivers but was to be rectified on version 6. I'll give it a go now and let you know my results.
pstuart
yes, using the new certified driver. Happened before as well on older drivers.
bk
I just tested my setup, I paused for varying intervals of 1,2,3 and 7.5 minutes and all worked fine. The dune did go to screen saver after 3 minutes but that just required pressing play once to get back to the paused screen then again to resume play. pstuart
Thanks, hope I can trace down the issue. Worst case I'll have to just blast an IR command to it to unpause it and wake up the network.I'm going to see how long I have to wait for the condition to kick in, I'm guessing its over 60 mins. And since it has fully buffered the movie, its probably forcing the network to sleep. I don't see anything on how to change its sleep mode, etc.Just out of curiosity, is your dune driver properties set to see the dune as always on?
