steve909
I'm wondering what the best way to take events that occur on a computer and turn them into events that can be detected in c4. I know there is an email driver that could be used:event on computer > send email to c4 > c4 reads email and executes command(s)but I was wondering if there is an alternative - maybe something more real time? can c4 monitor for the existence of a file/folder - or even better read a file?can you send commands directly over IP or serial? are there built in drivers for this? or can one be written? Thanks,Steve
codex
It would be possible to write an IP driver if you had a web service running on the PC/Mac.
alanchow
http://www.recluseav.com.au/driver-news-free-generic-event-driver.aspxalternatively someone could write a c4server version of this that would do it via tcp/ip
