pstuart
Ok, strange request, but I'm looking for a solution, ideally via Control4 to, at a push of a button, close a set of french doors.Any ideas? Will need to determine if the door is opened or closed. This could be done via relay or position of a closer arm. Will need some sort of closing arm on both doors and motors or piston to push the door closed, the jam side first, then the lock side second. Will need some way to stop the closing if something is in the way.Don't need to open the doors automatically, FYI.Anyone done something similar? ILoveC4
Talk to a car audio guy. They the masters of actuators, etc... I'm sure you can figure something out.
bk
A quality door closer setup for double doors with built-in sequencer.Best option I believe would be with a hold open magnet built into the closer arm track. This then can be easily controlled by a c4 relay. The closer will just rest up against anything substantial in the way.
HouseLogix
We have used this product multiple times with great luck. It has a contract sensor built into the door control that will allow you to hook up CardAccess relay. http://www.opensesamedoor.com/
