groomden Posted May 16, 2012 Author Share Posted May 16, 2012 from others posts, it looks like a programming issue on my end. i'm going to have my dealer look into it. we have to have every switch outside of a door working to pass inspection. i.e. so you never have to walk into a dark hallway, potentially at the top of stairs. thegreatheed Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 Those aren't switches.They are keypads. They do not ever switch a lighting load. They are merely buttons. They have to be programmed to function, at all. Without programming they are nothing more than night lights (and like I said, they do have to be programmed to pass inspection, usually)Switches and dimmers work fine without a system.
