Composer HE Error Windows XP SP2 Bootcamp *PLEASE HELP*

Fellow C4's I have been getting the following error when trying to connect to my director on a newly installed Composer HE on a iMac running Windows XP SP2 Bootcamp. I have received the exact same error when trying to load XP SP2 on Parallels too? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I had this same problem running composer on VMware. it seems you cannot run HE in XP on a VM. i 'obtained' a version of windows7 and it has been working without issue. I would try this and see if it works.

Not necessarily true. I run HE exclusively on VMware with no issues. But I've only used 1.8.0 and 1.8.2; it could be that 2.x works differently. And that's on VMware Fusion 3.x, not 4.x yet.

I could not get it to run under VirtualBox, though I don't recall the exact issue from a year ago. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure I ran it on Parallels 18 months ago, but would not swear to that.
