jmb Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I'm planning on replacing some existing light switches for c4 light switches. The are all single location(single pole). The existing switches have just two wires and a ground. I was surprised to see the C4 switches have three wires, plus the ground.I'm confused from the wiring diagram that came with C4 Switch on how to wire them when I replace the old switches. I'd welcome any advice.
AceOfSpades Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Just made this same mistake last week trying to figure this out. Hire an electrician. It will save you time and sleep.
jmb Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 Thanks. Got the old multimeter out and figured it out.
