HC300 version history

I guess I thought I knew what I had. I assumed since I bought around mid 2008 that I had a HC300B since it says AVM-HC300-E-B

Can someone with knowledge of the history please tell me if there were 3 different models of the HC300 and how to ensure I know which one I have?

My sticker on bottom where mac address is says C4-HC300-E-B composer says AVM-HC300-B

I'm looking at a picture of a HC300 that says Home controller C4-HC300-E-B on the bigger C4 sticker then says IC: 3254A-C4HC300E but when you look at its little mac addres sticker it says C4-HC300B-E-B under the bar code above mac address.

I see other stickers that say C4-HC300B-E-B and I'm aware of the HC300C which is 2.0+ with a factory restore button. So I have no questions on the HC300C just the 1 or possibly 2 older models?

If there were 3 models what is the difference between HC300-E-B and HC300B-E-B any problems with upgrades or hardware differences? Will a HC300-E-B run 1.8.2 will it go to 2.0+?

Thanks

Thanks a lot codeman, one more question do ALL HC300C have a factory restore button? I thought that all HC300C had 1 USB port look at this picture http://www.ebay.com/itm/Control4-HC300-with-remote-/300771464819?pt=Home_Automation_Controls_Touchscreens&hash=item4607605673

second picture zoom in, supposedly a HC300C with 1 USB port but no factory restore button? Is this possible?
