turls
First of all, can someone give a explanation of why you have both these choices on the touchscreen? They seem redundant. And does the checkbox at my.control4.com have anything to do with either of them? Also, why would Remote Access keep re-enabling after I've disabled it. This has happened at least 3 times in 3 days.I already have it unchecked in my.control4.com if that matters.Thanks.
pstuart
i believe remote access only stays active for 24 hours.
turls
I'm pretty sure before remote access was "connected" all the time. The issue I have now is even when I put it on disconnected it goes back to connected later, I don't know what the time interval is. I think Service Connection is the one you might be referring to that is supposed to be limited time?
Cyknight
Remote access is enable by default if you have 4sight - it refers to that connection, not so much dealer access. Service connection is for when you do NOT have 4-sight and want to start a temporary connection - as requested by a dealer - to allow a remote composer connection.
