mominayal
I would really like a slave thermostat for the c4thermostat. Currenlty the thermostat that controls the HVAC the west side of the house is on the main floor and our bedroom (above this on the 2nd floor) gets to hot (in the winter cause the furnace is reading the temp on main floor where the ceilings are taller, and in the summer cause all the heat rises and the main floor cools down and the AC turns off). would really like the HVAC to run based on temp in out bedroom. SMHarman
Surely this would be fixed by rebalancing the hot / cool airflows? If you only have one zone then there is too much hot air being sent to the 2nd floor. Diverting that air to the ground floor would mean the HVAC shutting off when the temp is correct for both rooms. lippavisual
You could always run a wire for a temp sensor from the thermostat to your upstairs room, if possible.
