ILoveC4
Do you have the GE security system and the C4 communicating with each other? If not, that's step one and is the Superbus automation module. Sent from my Droid MAXX via Tapatalk.
Chrch01
Yes C4 and the security is working together. Superbus?
ILoveC4
Does your dealer have the motion detector drivers added to the system? Do they show up as devices in Composer? Sent from my Droid MAXX via Tapatalk.
Chrch01
I think so.. Under System Design/My drivers I have motion Detector listed. Is it like adding a Dimmer Switch?
ILoveC4
If it's there you're fine. Just go to programming and select the motion detector. Then select when it senses motion to turn on the light. Sent from my Droid MAXX via Tapatalk.
johnadowell
Anybody else have a motion detector that eats 9v batteries like M&Ms? I have 2; one has batteries that last 18 months, the other will go through a battery in 18 hours. Defective or programmed wrong somehow?
Cyknight
What type of motion would help - if it's Card Access or Axxess Industries it could be programming/setting. If it's a wireless security, it might be having trouble staying connected to the panel (would be staying alive to reconnect constantly), possible it is triggering far too often but likely it's faulty. Depending on panel etc it could be set to the wrong type as well, causing it to be seen as normally closed - which could keep it alive 24/7.
