mstafford388
Hey Everyone, So I have a customer that we have done pool integration with. Its a Pentair Intellitouch system. Everything on the Control4 end works exactly how it should. We have 2 way communication, controlling all the auxiliaries, etc. The weird thing is when Control4 is hooked up to the pool panel, the Pentair controller shows low salt levels even though they are normal. If we unplug the Control4 stuff the pentair equipment shows normal salt levels. I've changed the serial port being used (C4 tech supports only solution), and I've also deleted and re-added the driver. The weird thing to me is salt levels/control isn't even a part of the driver. Anyone see something like this? or have any ideas?
SMHarman
Wild ass guess. Is this a dry or liquid salt solution? If liquid then they may measure low salt by electrical resistance of the liquid. The serial cable is creating a grounding and resistance potential that is impacting the sensor results. This is more a chemistry based guess than an electronics based one.
