THEORY Posted June 25, 2014 Share Posted June 25, 2014 It seems to me after having a quick glance at the nest API, the issue is nest wants a permissions page presented to the client in order to give permission to access the API and get a token. The problem at the moment is the difficulty in presenting that info to the client. The thermostat proxy isn't built to do this. You would have to do it via the MyHome App, a C4 Touchscreen, or via the C4 customer portal. It is most likely more work to handle this, than the driver itself.
