neil12011
Had a C4 dimmer installed in the kitchen...It "would have" controlled 3 can lights and one flood light over the sink.....After it was installed, it did it's led sequence with both top and bottom LEDs flashing.....and after it boots only the bottom led stayed lit...blue.....When I press the up button, nothing, reset, pulled air gap, won't identify, and certainly will not control load..it was wired...Green to groundwhite to nuetral...the existing switch had 2 black wires so....black from C4 dimmer to 1 black, and red to the other black...blue wire not connected...any ideas??? Is it a fried dimmer??? I would GREATLY appreciate any help..I should note that I have a few dimmers already installed around the house...And when put this "new" C4 dimmer in the place of one of those, it still does the same thing....Only one Led (bottom) stays lit, and won't control that load either... lippavisual
No I haven't heard of this before....I just wanted to see where it was purchased because I would just RMA, but since you got it from ebay, you can't.
lippavisual
Try setting it up with a temp light and an elctrical plug. Plug it in, identify and see if it controls the load. If it does then your wiring at the switch is fishy and you might want to call an electrician.
