marhum
I currently am working on a simple Home Theater project. They are using a HC-300 Controller with a SR-250 Remote. They are controlling a projector, receiver, roku, apple tv, dvd, and cable box from the controller. I am using Composer Pro 2.7.0 on a Macbook Pro running VMWare Windows 7. When I connect my controller to the router and my Macbook through a USB to Ethernet cable to the router, I cannot connect to the controller. Every time I do it, it says that it is unable to connect to Director. Can anyone help me out here??
neldua
Have you rebooted the controller? Login in to the customers router and check to use if controller is connected to network. If it's on the network try connecting with Control4 express App to see if that works.

StroTek LLC
your issue is that your virtual machine is not seeing the USB network adapter and/or it is not configured correctly get your basic networking fixed on your pc first.. then I bet you will be able to connect to the controller
Cyknight
Your problem is that you're trying to connect to a controller not supported as the main controller in Composer 2.
