Hi:

My Verizon DVR died on me recently and I had to replace it.  Do I now need to contact the dealer to have something changed for my SR-260 to work with my DVR?

if its the same model box and you hook everything up the same, including IR bud placement, then no.

If it's a different model box, then likely yes, you will need to contact a dealer.

It is the same model box and I hooked everything up exactly the same, but it is not responding.  Any suggestions on how to get it to respond?

is it controlling the DVR via IR or IP? if IP, make sure the IP of the new box is the same. if you made a DHCP reservation for the old box, the MAC address has now changed and you need to update to the new MAC or update c4 to the new IP :)
