If it's a different model box, then likely yes, you will need to contact a dealer.
January 10, 20169 yr Author It is the same model box and I hooked everything up exactly the same, but it is not responding. Any suggestions on how to get it to respond?
January 10, 20169 yr Can you be more specific about what works and what doesn't? Does the tv turn on and go to the correct input? Does the ir bud flash when you change channels? Did you make sure all cables are tight?
January 10, 20169 yr is it controlling the DVR via IR or IP? if IP, make sure the IP of the new box is the same. if you made a DHCP reservation for the old box, the MAC address has now changed and you need to update to the new MAC or update c4 to the new IP
January 10, 20169 yr pretty sure verizon is ir control you would just need to place the ir emitter on the receiver of your box
