Alarm Security Panel.... Which One??

Which One will give you most "Feedback" to Touch screens. I'm run into one deal breaker Cuz of lack of alarm security feedback. Customer want to see open zones, able to bypass zones, and have chime at selected zones ( With Zone Description).

We Have GE NX-8E Installed in, and composer give us only 6 options to choose.

1-Armed at Home

2-Armed Away

3-Disarmed

4-Alarm State

5-Trouble Condition

6-Clear Condition

Is it way or write some more options, as open zone ( With Description Will Be Nice ), Selective Bypass ( With Zone Description )

Or is it any other Alarm Panel to do more than GE NX 8E

Thanks.

You can control all the functions of any alarm panel using the same keystrokes on the GUI as you would on a hardwired keypad (alarm keypad), the customer just needs to understand the procedures.

If you select "toggle view" from your GUI under the security heading, it should display open zones and trouble conditions, so you already have those covered.

The bypass function is probably the biggest pain in the butt, and if the security panel is programmed and installed properly, they really shouldn't ever need to use it... however, like I said above, they still can if they understand the keystrokes.

Thanks capww8 for imput. That's very logical. GE Networx 8E has 5 side keys ( Stay, Away, Chime Bypass and Cancel ) As well 3 emergency activation Key's ( Panic, Fire and Medical) It's almost identical to DSC Alarm keypads. Concord Alarm panel has only 3 side emergency keys. in other word C4 touch pads can't replace security Keypad in full. So be aware of that, and don't promise to much to coustomers. Hope to see that feature in Future software update.

Thank's Again
