ryanl Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 We are willing to pay for custom artwork as well. At the vary least a custom logo for the 4. We have all our logs in Vector and many art formatts. Please contact me if your are interested. Thanks
thecodeman Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 *edit*I think you're looking for someone to modify your GUI. Sorry I didnt understand that earlier, hadn't had my coffee yet
danlevine Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Hey Ryanyou may want to hang out because in a couple of months the flash gui will be released. this will make it much easier to modify the gui. We can do it for you now, but once you use the flash gui you will not want to use the existing guidan
RyanE Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 *hand waving* inserted here.Dan,There is no official 'flash navigator' on the residential side of the company as of yet. No release date has been posted, and 'a couple of months' is only your supposition. It is true, the hospitality release of Control4 does have a flash-based Navigator, but the residential release does not currently have that available.Control4 also does not typically pre-announce features such as this, and I suggest you try and refrain from doing it as well.Cheers,RyanE
c44me Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 however, accidentally and/or inadvertently leaking info about things that may or may not materialize in the future is highly encouraged
thecodeman Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I think that Ryan just said quite the opposite...
thecodeman Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 What does that have to do with leaking information? LOL
c44me Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I think because we are all a bit tired of the 'when is this release coming' or 'when is that feature coming' threads? that and the fact that I think ryane has codeman on the payroll. lol
thecodeman Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Pshhhhhh I've never met Ryan in my life. Yet. But no seriously I dont work for Control4. Nor am I a dealer. And what was that other one, "I am not a crook". Bonus points if you know that quote.

Think it is reasonable for an outsider to deduce that because the hospitality version has flash that eventually the residential version will too. But when an insider runs immediately after waving hands -- that is an ironclad confirmation in my book.
RyanE Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 *more hand waving*I actually don't know when a residential version of Navigator will be released. Of course, if I did know, I wouldn't say on here. That said, yes, we have said in the past that at some point, it will be done for residential.RyanE
GoGo Delicious Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Pshhhhhh . . . . And what was that other one, "I am not a crook". Bonus points if you know that quote.Oh come on . .that ones EASY. President Richard Nixon !
GoGo Delicious Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 . . . . .Control4 also does not typically pre-announce features such as this, and I suggest you try and refrain from doing it as well.RyanEBUSTED ! ! !
collomd Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 So can we see the flash based navigator somewhere that we can use to interpolate capabilities for the non announced feature that may or may not be announced?
thecodeman Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Sure, find a hotel that has Lodgenet / Control4 in their rooms. Book a room there.
punkrock Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Hey Ryanyou may want to hang out because in a couple of months the flash gui will be released. this will make it much easier to modify the gui. We can do it for you now, but once you use the flash gui you will not want to use the existing guidanare there any screenshots of the flash gui?
Guest mlund Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 The Hospitality UI can be experienced at The Montage in Beverly Hills (a very beautiful hotel).
