South Africa C4 user Posted October 12, 2017 Share Posted October 12, 2017 I am busy finalizing the spec for my new beach house Control4 system. I have had 2 dealers quote me and one of the items I am battling to get my mind around is the video matrix. One is suggesting an HDAnywhere MHUB 4K pro 8x8 HDMI Matrix switcher and the other (my usual dealer albeit the beach house is 600km away) is recommending Control4 LU1082 D UHD 10x8x2 video matrix. Prices are similar - C4 being US$500 more but that is insignificant in the total quote. My gut says the C4 matrix must be the way to go... Any views on which is better? Is one obviously better than the other? I only need 8 video outputs and 7 inputs, so the difference between 10 and 8 is meaningless in my setup.
