ILoveC4
Ouch...probably just trimming the fat and doubling up peoples duties. A lot of companies are doing that right now. I know at my company a lot of people have been living "high on the hog" and were not only being overpaid, but underworked. We are seeing positions get cut, especially in support areas (cost centers). They are asking everyone to do more work (there work and the person getting laid offs work), and people are happy to because they feel fortunate to have a job. RyanE
While I obviously don't speak for the company, I will say that core engineering was basically unaffected by the layoff. The company is obviously tightening the belt, which is a good thing.RyanE

Core engineering is a must have, but we probably all have a few office workers that we could easily do without.
