Playing Music from Network Drive

I have a bunch of CDs ripped lossless to a network drive. They play fine on my system, but i have a few frustrations/questions:

- How do i create a playlist?

-Albums with various artists (e.g. a soundtrack) are broken down by artist and show up as separate copies of the same album.

-I can only select by album or track. How do i play by artist or genre? Can i shuffle play?

Sort of surprised not to see these capabilities as they are pretty basic.

Sounds like you need to check your id3-tags. Did you do the ripping your self or did you get help from someone?

All these things by the way, including playlist, is done in composer mediaedition.

yes, i ripped the music myself using Phile Audio....a lot of it before i got a C4 system
