dw886
When power goes out, I want my controller and NVR to stay on as long as possible, however in the unlikely event that power is off and I get low on UPS run time, what's the best method to power down a Controller? I understand how to see remaining runtime, I just need help finding the best action. I don't see any actions in the programming tab for controller shutdown or restart (and I may just not be looking in the right spot)... I'm assuming that a "graceful" shutdown is better than a non-graceful shutdown. I have my controller connected to a Wattbox, so I can simply do the non-graceful shutdown if that's the preferred method and kill power to the outlet... david@berto.co.uk
My master Berto Cloud driver gives the ability to execute system commands. My systems are all UPS backed and in the event of a power cut I do gracefully shutdown the controller after X minutes depending on the runtime of the UPS. I've only started to release my drivers for public use. See https://github.com/davidmassot/Berto. Thanks David
