ronlonnborg
Anybody got any ideas on how to upgrade a touch screen that on 2.1.1. I tried using a HC300 on 2.2.2 to upgrade, but you can’t register it as a director anymore. It has to be on 2.5.3. Tried image updater, but I think it has to be on 2.2.2 to accept a update. Cyknight
image updater will bring any device to whatever version you want (and supports) - so yes you should be able to update the infinity to ...whatever it's last supported version is (2.9? - i can't remember) or whatever version before that that you need. sonic30101
believe there are 2 different image update tools based on the versions you need to connect to so you may have the V2 image update tool?
ronlonnborg
I have tried the v1 and will not update it. Error and says something about invalid version number. Think because it is version 2.1.1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cyknight
7 hours ago, ronlonnborg said: Think because it is version 2.1.1 Nope. The image updater is not reliant on the SSL certificate, or dependent on what version the device is on right now. Try a factory restore, the retry the updater
ronlonnborg
I tried a factory restore first, kinda why I am in this predicament. It perform the boot load, but when it should display connecting to director, it just show a black screen. The pointer flash up every couple of minutes. ronlonnborg
Here is how I updated my Infinity Touch Screen 7" that was stuck on 2.2.1 Firmware. SMB to Drivers Folder Copy these files into Drivers Folder Sometimes you can use <wget> command to put then there, instead of SMB. https://github.com/lurchinms/TouchScreenUpdate Packages.gzflash-navigator-800x480-c5_2.9.1.532460-res_armv7av2.debflash-navigator-800x480_2.9.1.532460-res_all.debflash-navigator-common_2.9.1.532460-res_all.debkernel-modules-badger_2.6.32-omap-41.1_armv7av2.debrootfs-c57_2.9.1.532460-res_armv7av2.debsystem-version_2.9.1.532460-res_all.deb SSH into the TouchScreen root@<ip.address> User Name - root PassWord - t0talc0ntr0l4! Those are 0 not o <TYPE> cd /control4/drivers <TYPE> ls - to view that the files are there You should see the files you SMB over. <TYPE> dpkg -i system-version_2.9.1.532460-res_all.deb<TYPE> dpkg -i rootfs-c57_2.9.1.532460-res_armv7av2.deb<TYPE> dpkg -i kernel-modules-badger_2.6.32-omap-41.1_armv7av2.deb -----Try and update it using Composer------- May need to install these too, but can’t remember. dpkg -i flash-navigator-common_2.9.1.532460-res_all.deb dpkg -i flash-navigator-800x480_2.9.1.532460-res_all.deb Think cause its a 7” TouchScreen dpkg -i flash-navigator-800x480-c5_2.9.1.532460-res_armv7av2.deb Maybe this if its 5” TouchScreen
