thecodeman
Well? What's our alternative? The 9150 I guess, but man all those hard drives I'm going to need.. http://www.engadgethd.com/2009/04/17/crestron-200-disc-blu-ray-changer-due-in-june/http://www.crestron.com/products/show_products.asp?jump=1&model=ADC-200BRCool: It's a Blu changer. You can stack 5 units.Bad:Crestron only. The pricing is prohibitive at $9k

akg4y
How did you get a 9TB NAS for $1500? What model are you using to support that capcity, all of the ones that are reasonable that Ive seen are 4 drives max with 1TB per drive max.
ILoveC4
I was looking at this NAS: http://www.netgear.com/Products/Storage/ReadyNASProPE/RNDP600E.aspx, with 6 1.5TB seagate drives. I can't find anywhere that it says 1.5TB drives aren't supported.Obviously I would probably do some sort of raid configuration that would leave 6 TB or 7.5 TB available. PeterM1
The Seagate 1.5TB drives are still a big no-no, despite the revised firmware, for any kind of RAID system. Plan to use 1TB drives for now. And you'll find the netgear hardware compatibility list in their forums, with numerous threads as to why the 1.5TB drives are not supported.Either way, we're comparing apples 2 oranges. The Crestron bluray changer has a different market, whereas the legality of the NAS content is....well...very debateable at this point in time. Both solutions will do well for different reasons.
