vvtech
I recently got a new alarm and I will like to arm automatically at night and I’m able to set the program to arm, but I don’t see a way to enter the pass code that is required to arm it, so it fails. Any help here is greatly appreciated.
South Africa C4 user
You need to have entered the code in the driver properties in Composer in order for the arm command to work.
eggzlot
also what driver are you using? As mentioned above, some drivers have the ability to enter the code in the monitoring section of the driver. I know the IT-100 driver works that way.
vvtech
This is the driver that I'm using. Is this the location to put the code? I don't see any other areas to add the code in the driver.

It’s not the master or code for any other users
vvtech
So do I need to ask the alarm company to setup a new code to arm the alarm? I have a VISTA 21IP with 4232CBM Module
eggzlot
Again I don’t have your model with my DSC I can set up to like 15-20 codes on my own. Not sure about your system you could use any known code I just thought it was smart to have a unique c4 code in case I wanted to break or change it google your model and creating codes and see if you can do it. vvtech
It looks like I need a master code to create a new code. I don't have the master code. I was hoping it would be easy to arm the alarm with programming.

South Africa C4 user
Your original code should work if you put the correct alarm code in, the driver has no bugs and the alarm system is properly connected to the C4 system. Probably time to get your dealer in.
vvtech
I called my alarm company and they gave me a the master user code and that one worked when I added it to the driver. Thank you both for your help.
