Automatically Arm Alarm via Programming

Recommended Posts

I recently got a new alarm and I will like to arm automatically at night and I’m able to set the program to arm, but I don’t see a way to enter the pass code that is required to arm it, so it fails.  Any help here is greatly appreciated.

This is the driver that I'm using.

Is this the location to put the code?  I don't see any other areas to add the code in the driver.

I don’t have that driver but yes that looks similar to what I see

i went into my panel and created a code that is only used by c4. It’s not the master or code for any other users

Again I don’t have your model

with my DSC I can set up to like 15-20 codes on my own.  Not sure about your system

you could use any known code I just thought it was smart to have a unique c4 code in case I wanted to break or change it

google your model and creating codes and see if you can do it.

It looks like I need a master code to create a new code.  I don't have the master code.

I was hoping it would be easy to arm the alarm with programming. :(

There is...don’t use a unique code.  Use the one you know

I am but not working.

create a macro called arm alarm

have it call out your code - lets say your code is 1234

press 1 on alarm keypad
250 millisecond delay
press 2 on alarm keypad
250 millisecond delay
press 3 on alarm keypad
250 millisecond delay
press 4 on alarm keypad

that is your macro

then upon that command you have above just state run macro arm alarm

other than that I have no suggestions.
