Hooch
Good evening... I came home tonight to a non-function C4 system.I powered off the HC-300, my router and my amp. I restarted everything one-by-one. No Luck.I have replace the batteries in the remotes, leaving them out 10 minutes or so.I watched the log and I can't see anything obvious...Is there a way I can tell if the controller is working? or if the Zigbee network is functioning?Or do I need a Service Call? Any help would be appreciated....

Hooch
Thanks for your reply. At the present time I do not have a 4sight subscription. As for the log files... which one do I need?I can obtainn the diagnostic log from Composer HE or I can access the logs from the Controller? What should I be looking for? Thanks again!

thecodeman
There's some zigbee problems happening there, (initFrontPanel: ERROR!!), which explains why your remotes aren't working. You'll want your dealer to stop by for a service call.
Matt
Jul 23 05:37:01 hc300 : Device Home Controller HC300(97):Closing socket connection.Jul 23 05:37:01 hc300 : Device Home Controller HC300(97):Lost socket connection. That kind of has me worried as well. Do you know if the dealer changed the name of the device and forgot to re-id it?I bet when the dealer checks on the zigbee server it will state unknown. jberger
I do not have a ton of experience reading the logs, but based on what you are posting the controller is not getting any response from the zigbee radio. That's why all of the errors and traces are from the Zserver, it's up and running, but unable to communicate. If you have another controller in the house, you can move zserver to it and test connectivity. I think it's the zigbee board in the controller, and there is a field replacement available.
