grant0830
Fellow C4 Users, We have two basic 150W outdoor lighting transformers plugged into covered GFI outlets that wire back to Control4 dimmer switches (previous generation) for control. We keep having the GFI trip and I’m starting to wonder if it’s related to the transformer being on a dimmer switch? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated! Cyknight
What transformers (are they ELV, MLV?) Are those dimmable to begin with?
Cyknight
Also, are you dimming the GFI itself? That would do it - GFI sould probably be moved in FRONT of the dimmer.
grant0830
So from the electrical panel then it connects to the Control4 Dimmer Switch (old version) and then to the GFI outlet outside then to the Low Voltage Transformer which has the following specs - input: 120v 60Hz 1.0A - Output: 12V - 13V - 14V - 15V - Max Rating 100w The dimmer switches are always set to 100% when they come on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
