azkid
When I bought my house the control4 equipment was included. I am now figuring out what everything does and really enjoying it. Was looking through the AV rack and there is a Nuvo NV-P300 in the rack but not connected to anything although there is a label written on tape that says for control4... Does anyone know what this thing is? Based on some googling it looks to be some kind of audio streamer device. The amazon like above says it works with alexa... could I use this device to tell alexa to play music in specific zones of my house or something like that? I don't have 4sight so might be usefull... Is there any advantage to using this thing with control4? Trying to figure out if I should keep it or try and toss it on ebay.
brantlmcdonald
The P300 is a pre-amp. It was probably routed through an audio matrix. Alexa commands will likely not work because it’s just a pre-amp, and cannot turn on whatever amp it’s connected to unless it is sensing.
