gogogadget
Looking for a work around on dimming 2 loads on the same circuit. Load 1: recessed bathroom fixtures in a soffit. Load 2: led front facing lights. So, I ideally wanted load 1 to go to 100% then load 2 begin, but without a delay. At the moment all I can think of is using a second switch in series, but there will be a delay. Or maybe a hidden switch if, I can pull the wires through the wall. Ideally I'd like to take the power from the soffit lights. Maybe a shelly relay?
RAV
Are you trying to split existing? Add to existing circuit? When don't you want both? Assuming wire permits, you could bypass the wall control and allow the hot direct to 2 shelly dimmers. Then program the wall control to operate the shelly dimmers as a scene. gogogadget
Not existing, being added. Yeah, there is a nearby hot I could use... interesting. I hadnt thought of that.
gogogadget
So I think ill go the Shelly relay route, although I'm concerned about the delay. I can use the preset light level to control if it dims with the main load or not. During my night or evening level presets It wont turn on until the second press bringing it up to 100%.
