ticoabuf
Hey I have the new Control4 Chime (wifi version) installed and it appears to be great with my T3 screens, etc., but have one issue or question, since we are using the Control4 app on several of our families iPhones the app notification is irritating that it's like a phone call that you have to try to answer, so I'm curious, is there anyway to disable the chime notification function on the Control4 iPhone app? Thanks
Cyknight
Shutting the ringer off, no - you can however disable intercom completely on a per-phone basis in the app itself (home/4 button top left, settings, select account and scroll for the intercom option)
ticoabuf
Cyknight, you saved the day!! Because Control4 is a touchy subject with the wife over the years because we have so many items everywhere (won't bore you with details but more than 150 items connected) and she thinks it's overkill but she has been fine with all of the automation of late until the Chime was recently installed and the notification was driver her crazy (lol). So, thank you it worked and saved my C4 platform (lol)...
Cyknight
Heh no worries. It's only on on my own phones, and it still annoys my wife when I'm home. (in no small part because it's constantly being rang by kids' friends coming to the door). What I'd REALLY love is if it would know when I'm home (ie on the same network as the system) so it only rings when remote...
ticoabuf
Wow that would be a good feature that would take the Chime to another level....
