lippavisual
I’ve had this issue before but it was a conference room. The cleaners were using some particular powder on the carpet before vacuuming it. The powder was adding more static buildup on the carpet, so much so that it would cause my whole AV rack to reboot. I told the cleaners to stop using that stuff in that room and the problem went away. Static mats won’t help unless you make everyone wear anti-static straps on their shoes. Really isn’t a good way to fix permanently. Could always try to mount a metal plate to the wall next to the touchscreen and have them touch that before the screen!!
