South Africa C4 user
I have recently created a dummy room for one of my Neeo remotes and was wondering if there is a better way of doing this (before I duplicate it for 7 rooms). The reason for the dummy room is that I have lots of experience buttons (like play, fast forward etc. that I use on my Neeo but don’t really want on the OSD). I thus have one room (say theatre) for the OSD and another room (say Theatre remote for the Neeo or ultimately a Halo Touch). The latter room is cluttered with experience buttons which looks stupid on an OSD but make perfect sense on the Neeo. In order to achieve this, my dealer duplicated the audio and video connections for the “remote” room and we added programming so that the video source, audio source and power (Room off) state of the 2 rooms mimic each other. This all works perfectly (after we ironed out one or two bugs in our logic) but before we repeat this across 7 rooms, I was wondering if there is not a better way to achieve what I want? Any suggestions welcome! Edited March 22, 2023 by South Africa C4 user

mstafford388
Using custom buttons would consolidate those commands and clean up your interface but aren't as elegant as experience buttons. The Halo touch has more buttons than the Neeo which may make several of those commands you've mentioned you added unnecessary.
