0 macosr
It all depends on your overall setup and outdoor area size. I ended up adding two rock subs in my pool area. I have a separate amp for the primary pool area speakers (4 Klipsch Rock Speakers) and a separate amp for the subs (2 Klipsch Rock Subs). The sub amp is slaved off the audio matrix and tied to the primary pool speakers channel on the audio matrix. Overall I have 10 speakers (3 zones) and 2 subs in my pool area. I guess if you have a spare channel on your existing amp you could add the sub to that but it all depends on your budget and what kind of sound you are looking for.
