  1. Does the Pentair Intelliconnect also work for this or have a separate driver? I think only the more pricy Pentair Intellicenter has integration into C4. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Anyone have a good solution to have an Alexa poolside which can act just like other indoor alexas to control many C4 actions and devices? We’ve got a nice patio and tv setup all integrated with C4 so can play music, but would like to be able to shout from my pool to have Alexa change the song. Thinking a good wireless waterproof speaker but not sure of one which has multi room and same features as a dot. Guess I could just carry a dot out connected to a battery pack if all else fails. Thanks all and wash those hands! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. He mentioned the NVR driver was delayed a bit due to some more priority paid work and it could be out in March. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. @theroxkhr Did you ever connect a LV transformer to a Lutron Caseta Smart Plug wall outlet? For lighting we use Caseta throughout the house so I’d prefer to use this but I could always get the C4 one to use for our retaining wall lights around the pool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Here’s the chowmain driver for Hikvision cams but I run all mine through the NVR. Dev backlog is supposed to have the NVRs to work as well. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/topic?share_fid=76380&share_tid=33459&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ec4forums%2Ecom%2F&share_type=t&link_source=app Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Haven’t even tried yet. Eventually want to.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Still needing to integrate a Nelly’s NVR and cams (hikvision). A driver is being built and might be out in March Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Update: These nest temperature sensors work great if you already have nest thermostats integrated. In the Nest app I just select to use the sensor as the temperature gauge downstairs instead of the thermostat itself. Control4 just recognized whichever you select as if it’s the thermostat. 9. Has anyone tried using the new Nest temperature sensors if you already have nest thermostats integrated into your project? I’m thinking it should work just fine but wanted to see if anything may need to be programmed. Our kitchen is typically cooler and by putting one of these in there our downstairs nest thermostat could work off that for temp control. Thanks in advance! https://store.google.com/us/product/nest_temperature_sensor?hl=en-US Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks for the update! Certainly understand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. @alanchow How’s this NVR integration coming along? Appreciate the work being done and look forward to using this driver. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm currently on Composer HE 3.1.1 and can access via Local or Remote on my laptop just fine, but considering that's my work laptop I'd prefer to use my home HP all-in-one desktop. However, when trying to access using the HP I get the following fatal error message and cannot connect. I used to at least be able to connect via Remote System while on my home network , but now I can't even do that. Any ideas or help? See error messages and screenshot below: Exception: System.UnauthorizedAccessException Message: Access to the path 'C:\Users\jonet\AppData\Roaming\Control4\Composer\controllers.xml' is denied. 13. Merry Christmas all! Quick question regarding this new driver. I currently have all my Hikvision cameras plugged directly into the NVR (POE). With that, the IP addresses are issued by the NVR itself. Will I be able to use those IP addresses since my Hikvision system is Plug N Play or will I need to wait for the NVR driver y’all are working on to be released? Thanks in advance! 14. Sorry, I’m new to integrating Hikvision into C4 as it’s still on my to-do list, so a slight learning curve here. I’m working under the assumption C4 allows viewing cameras away from home network without the use of opening ports or enabling P2P within Hikvision cams or NVR, so long as you have 4sight? Currently, in order to get push notifications within Hikvision (not tied to Control4) I have to enable P2P, which I’d prefer not do to. Looking at your documentation and your comment I’m thinking it’s not needed as a setting within Hikvision directly, which is a good thing. But looking for confirmation. 15. Does this require P2P (Guarding Vision) or open ports to get push notifications? Currently the only way I can get Hikvision push notifications on iOS device is for P2P to be activated, which disables the ability to run OpenVPN for added layer of security, as far as I’ve been able to read up on and setup on my NVR.
