hunger
I just got a new Jandy pool system. My old pool system had no automation other than that the pool light was controlled via a normal Control4 wall switch. I have the Control4 Jandy iAquaLink driver and it works well with the new system, but I would love to be able to turn the lights on using the existing wail switch which, of course, is not connected to the new lights as they are connected to the Jandy. Does the Control4 Jandy iAquaLink driver allow one to have a Control4 wall switch control the pool lights via the iAquaLink? If not, will a third party driver allow that? If not, any suggestions? I'd rather not have to install the Control4 app on our guests' phones just so they can turn on the pool lights and I really would not want to have to install the iAquaLink app on their phones either. I know that Control4 touch screens are a possibility but I no longer have any functioning ones (all five are no longer supported) and would rather not buy one just to be able to turn the pool lights on and off. lippavisual
If nothing is connected to the red wire on the switch, as in capped off, then just bind the pool lights to the wall switch.
hunger
Under Connections and per the driver documentation, the iAquaLink driver only has outputs, not inputs. Would I not need an input to the pool light auxiliary circuit?
