Cooper
Was thinking about getting a few C4-LDZ-102 dimmers but not sure If they are compatible. I have an EA-5 first generation controller, and I read somewhere that you can update these switches to ZigBee Pro. If that's true I would get some of these for other spaces since I can get them for $10 on eBay instead of $85 for the essential lighting. msgreenf
But you need ones already updated to zp. You can't do the embernet upgrade any longer
Cooper
Ok, so I can, I just need to find ones already updated. (Might be sticking to essential)
Andrew luecke
The amount of money you spend and time trying to get the old ones to be upgraded, makes it definitely NOT worthwhile (and the new ones are better in so many ways). It's never straightforward.. As an alternative, you could also look at something like Shelly.. They make pucks which are cheap and use Wifi instead. Our driver is also fairly inexpensive
