AJ_
Although I am generally happy with the dealers I have worked with, none of them have helped me to manage the deluge of cables near my rack. Are there any online resources or just some tips that you may know of I can use to learn more about this and then do this myself? I would really appreciate some help on this as the cables are all over the place. The cables - CAT5, speaker, coax, etc. all are heading down from the ceiling to the floor and then into the rack. But they aren't flowing through cable mgmt parts or grouped together by room either. Thanks,AC

ELECTRICDON
We use velcro, lacing bars, and custom made cable cut to length. You can use lacing bars to take up slack on non custom cables easily
CFUG
I use panduit duct to get from the wall/ceiling drop to the rack.

henniae
thanks! one more q - do you use patch panels? will these cause a drop in signal quality?I don't generally use patch panels of balun applications. If there are existing patch panels I use them. If it is a new install I will just crimp 8P8C ends on the cat5/6.
