Garp
Hi, trying to decide between the Visio E422VA and LG 42LD550. Anyon happen to know if either of these have discreet input and power signals? I hate dealing with TVs that don;t. They always get out of synch especially with the kids turning them on and off and changing selections with the buttons eon the TV instead of the remote.G
xc420
The LG does for sure plus it has RS-232. I would go with the LG personally. I think it even has IR input on the back, at least mine does.http://www.lg.com/us/tv-audio-video/televisions/LG-lcd-tv-42LD550.jsp

Garp
"30 samplers"? What does that mean?free food samples, they went all out for super bowl weekend. The cracked pepper wings, marinated tri-tip and jalapeno/avacado dip was great, got plenty for the game.Anyone know where on the Wii sensor bar a IR bud will work, or if it will work at all? I want to at least turn it off when I do an all off scene.
nikon
The sensor bar just emits IR light. It doesn't actually receive anything... As far as i know anyway... I don't play video games..
pharmdsmith
The wii has no ir control. You still have to use the wii remote to power on/off.
ILoveC4
Ah, the food samples. I let my wife do 99.9% of the shopping so don't make it to Costco much, but I do remember they always have people giving out samples.I thought you meant something in the A/V world...silly me. Garp
Hey CX-420 Did you have to tweak the driver for yours? I can get the netflix button to work, but once the netflix menu is open the arrow keys dont work

The Wii is not IR controller at all so you can't control it with the C4 system and need to use the Wiimote.
