Toutht
HI allNeed your help. I've got a 7" infinity edge screen powered through POE. Problem im having is the screen keeps fading. IF i pull it out of the powerbox then put it back in, the screen is full bright but then it slowly fades and within a minute after booting it will go completely black. Then if i fiddle with it and slightly pull on it as if im taking the screen out from the power box it goes full bright then starts to fade again. Can anyone help troubleshoot? Anyone else have this problem???
henniae
Sounds like a bad TS. I would just call your dealer and get it replaced. It is probably still under warranty.

Toutht
hiyes i have purchased through a dealer. however when i plug it in to another powerbox where i have my 5" infinity edge. It works fine. So the screen is definately not defective.
RyanE
Could be the back-box is defective, or the touchscreen, either could have a bad connector or a bad power supply in the back-box.RyanE
Matt
If you plug your 5” panel into the power box which is having dimming issue does the problem pursue? If so, then it’s the power box (not the panel).
